Cookie Policy
Which cookies and similar technologies we use on the website and in the app.
In force from 29 September 2026
Version historyWhat cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files that your browser saves on your device. The browser’s local storage (localStorage) and the app’s storage on your phone work in a similar way. This policy describes all such storage in AthSpace.
They are used by Michał Jankowski, an entrepreneur trading as Michał Jankowski Miart. Contact details and the rules for processing personal data are in the Privacy Policy.
What we do not use
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The Website, public pages and the App have no analytics tools, advertising pixels, social media plugins or embedded third-party players. Fonts are served from our own servers, without connecting to Google Fonts.
That is why we do not show a consent banner. We only use storage that is strictly necessary to provide the service you request and storage that remembers a choice you made yourself (language, theme). Such storage does not require consent (Art. 399(3) of the Polish Electronic Communications Law).
The athspace.com website
lang — a cookie that remembers the language chosen in the language switcher, so the home page opens in that language. It is set only when you change the language. Valid for 12 months.
theme (browser local storage) — remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. It stays until you delete it in your browser.
The waitlist form does not set any cookies.
athspace_verify_email_result and athspace_access_request_result — after you click a link confirming your email address or waitlist request, they keep the confirmation result so it can be shown on the next page. Valid for 2 minutes and not accessible to scripts.
Public profile pages
Pages at athspace.com/profile-name do not set cookies during normal browsing. The contact form does not use them either.
Signing in with a browser
__Secure-better-auth.session_token — if you sign in to AthSpace in a browser, it stores a signed session identifier that keeps you signed in. It works on the athspace.com domain and its subdomains, is not accessible to scripts and is sent only over an encrypted connection. Valid for 7 days, extended when you use your account; we delete it when you sign out.
The account panel in the browser also sets technical cookies: NEXT_LOCALE (language, 12 months), athspace-phone-verified (phone confirmation, 12 months), and athspace-onboarding-completed, athspace-profile-id and athspace-profile-tier (account state and active profile, 1 day). In browser local storage it keeps a random browser identifier (athspace_browser_device_id), the active profile and a message that syncs the session between tabs.
The mobile app
The App does not use cookies for tracking. In the phone’s secure storage (Keychain on iOS, Keystore on Android) it keeps sign-in session data, a random installation identifier (for managing devices and notifications), the active profile and a pending invitation.
In the App’s storage it saves settings: language, units, the style of shared images and a data sync marker. When you turn on notifications, the phone’s operating system issues a push token, which we store with your device. The purchases module (RevenueCat) keeps a customer identifier and purchase status.
Documents and public pages opened in the App are shown in a built-in browser; the rules described above for the Website apply to them. Signing out removes session data, and uninstalling the App removes the settings.
Third-party services
Traffic to athspace.com passes through Cloudflare, which protects us against attacks. Cloudflare may set its own security cookie (e.g. __cf_bm, valid for up to 30 minutes) to tell human traffic from bots; it is not used for tracking.
Stripe payments, App Store and Google Play purchases and device makers’ pages open on those companies’ websites and use their own cookies, described in their policies.
Managing cookies
You can view, block and delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Blocking the session cookie will prevent signing in with a browser, and deleting lang and theme restores the default language and theme.
Changes
If we start using other cookies, e.g. for analytics, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before setting them.
