Devices and activities
How to connect a sports device, what reaches ath·space and what to do when a workout is missing or shows up twice.
Which devices can I connect?
Garmin, COROS, Polar, Wahoo, Amazfit (through a Zepp account) and Hammerhead. Connect them in Settings → Integrations or while setting up your profile.
Connecting opens the maker’s page: sign in there and agree to share your activities. Items marked “Coming soon” aren’t available yet.
What do you import?
Only activities — your workouts. We don’t import sleep, stress or health data.
After you connect, we import activities from the last 30 days and then every new one. With Garmin, keep activities and historical data selected — without them we won’t get the last 30 days.
A new workout lands in your feed on the day you did it. For the first 24 hours the app reminds you about it so you can add a description and choose who sees it.
A workout is missing
Check that the workout synced to the maker’s app — we only import it from there. Then open the feed in ath·space and refresh it.
Still nothing? In Settings → Integrations, check that the connection is active. If needed, disconnect the device and connect it again — we’ll import the last 30 days again without duplicating what you already have.
The same workout appears twice
When the same workout arrives in two files, we save it as one activity with several versions. On the activity’s data screen you’ll see a banner and can choose which version to show. Only you see the banner.
We match versions by the exact start time. If a file was trimmed, the workout may arrive as a separate activity — you can delete it.
Disconnecting a device
In Settings → Integrations, tap “Disconnect”. We stop importing, and the workouts already imported stay on your profile. You delete individual activities by hand.
A workout without a device
Tap the centre “Creator Zone” button → “Activity” → “Enter manually”. The activity lands in your feed on the day of the workout, not the day you added it.
