Deleting your account
You delete your account in the app. For 30 days you can restore it; after that we delete it for good.
How do I delete my account?
In Settings, scroll to the very bottom and tap “Delete account permanently”. Confirm with your password and type the word APPROVE, or confirm with Apple or Google if that’s how you sign in.
Before you delete your account, cancel your App Store or Google Play subscriptions — deleting the account doesn’t cancel them and the store keeps charging.
What happens right away?
Your profile disappears for others and we sign you out on every device. You’ll get an email with the deletion date.
How do I restore my account?
Within 30 days, sign in and choose “Restore account”, or use the button in the email. After that date, deletion starts and can’t be undone.
What stays after deletion?
Comments and posts in other people’s Zones stay, signed as “Deleted account”. We keep billing data for as long as the law requires. Want your comments removed too? Write to us.
Teams and groups you run pass to an admin or are deleted. If you run a paid Zone, it stays open until the paid periods end, and we pay your balance out to your account.
